Amrita Kaur Athwal
Senior Trial Coordinator within the D3B team as part of Cancer Research Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) in collaboration with NIHR SRMRC Trauma Research Team
University of Birmingham
Amrita obtained a BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick and then went on to study an MSc in Oncology at the University of Nottingham.
Amrita started working at the Cancer Research Clinical Trials Unit (http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/mds/trials/crctu/index.aspx) in January 2015 as a Trial Coordinator within the Early Drug Development team. Here she worked on a number of academic and pharmaceutical trials in liver diseases (cancer and non-cancer). After the team branched off to form the D3B team she then started working as a Senior Trial Coordinator in January 2017 and is involved in a number of academic trials with the SRMRC Trauma group.
