Samantha began working at the NIHR SRMRC in February 2017 after developing a keen interest in research, and a desire to improve care delivered and patient outcomes across a range of specialties.
Samantha is a band 6 Research Nurse within the SRMRC. She qualified as an adult nurse in 2009 and spent 18 months working on an Acute Medical ward. After this she transferred into Critical Care where she spent 6 years, during this time she worked on different specialised units, undertook a teaching role, and obtained a BSc in Critical Care Medicine.
