Angus graduated medical school in 2017, during which he completed an intercalated BSc in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and undertook research looking into the development of novel biocompatible and antimicrobial coatings for orthopaedic implants.
Angus has worked within the Trauma Research team at the QE for the past year and has helped with recruitment of patients to trials such as Cryostat-2, ORiF and ADaPT among others. He hopes to complete an MRes in Trauma Research during his posting here with a focus on chest trauma and management of associated injuries with an eventual career goal of becoming a Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon.
