Seminar: Microbial biofilm formation on mucosal surfaces

This event was part of the regular SRMRC seminar series  and featured Professor Marnie Peterson from the University of Minnesota.

Prof Peterson is an associate professor in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology of the College of Pharmacy. Her research interests include characterisation of interactions between Staphylococcus aureus and mucosal surfaces for the development of novel drug therapies. This includes topical microbicides and anti-inflammatory agents, as well as mucosal vaccine strategies.
