SUMMARY:Introduction to PPI in the SRMRC/CfCWR
DESCRIPTION:We will be holding an Introduction to PPI day for any SRMRC/CfCWR staff and PPI group members on the Thursday 20th February\, 10:00am – 2:30pm. The day will be a mix of workshops and activities and I hope that some of you might like to attend to meet our PPI group\, learn more about PPI in research or contribute to some of the activities. The day will include: \n  \n\nWelcome to New Members\nThe Research Process: introduction to the research/grant application process and how patients and the public can get involved at all stages of the research cycle\nIntroduction to Patient and Public Involvement: a workshop for patients\, members of the public and any staff members who want to learn more about the basics of PPI\nAll about the SRMRC & CfCWR: introduction to both research centres\, ‘A day in the life of…..’ talks by current staff members’ (e.g. research nurse\, trials team member\, research fellow\, PI etc)
